On Saturday 30th September the Bangor Holt Shield Team played their return leg of the final against Fortwilliam away from home, defending a 3-2 lead.
Unfortunately, the team was beaten 5-0 against a very strong Fortwilliam side who won 7-3 overall. That is the eighth time Fortwilliam has won the competition since its inception in 1963. Bangor has now achieved runner up status for a third time and is yet to win it.
Congratulations are due to Ian McNaught and his team for doing so well and almost creating history for the Club. Well done boys.
