Bangor Golf Club offers a range of facilities and services to its members.
Practice facilities – our practice facility includes a weather protected teeing area, a chipping and putting green, a putting green, a golf range for practising pitching to driving, pitching greens and a practice bunker. Our pro staff can make the Trackman facility available at the range to provide additional feedback.
Club competitions – there is a range of weekly and annual competitions for men and ladies throughout the year to suit all levels of ability (including fun competitions) – see the Competition page.
Ladies and men’s golf societies – these are open to all. The Polar Bears operates in the winter months and is a great way to meet members. It organises annual trips to Europe and Ireland for “intensive” training. The Penguins society for ladies operates also in winter and has its own golf trips away.
Golf professional – see our professional’s page. The pro team provide individual lessons, group sessions and have available state of the art instruction equipment (Trackman).
Golf shop – we have a fully stocked golf shop at competitive prices for golf consumables, clothes, clubs and snacks.
James Braid courses – Bangor Golf Course was designed by James Braid. Members can enjoy preferential green fees at other James Braid courses. You can view a list of other clubs that are members of the James Braid Association by clicking button below.

Catering – There is a restaurant and three bars (sports viewing available) – see our catering page. For members there is a 15% bar discount which makes our bar prices very competitive in the area.
Discounted room hire – rooms are available for hire for family or business events.
Social events – there is a wide range of social events throughout year including murder mystery nights, tribute acts and top musicians on a regular basis. For major sports events, golf and other sports we hold special promotions, fun competitions and late bars.
Snooker – we have two full sized tables available for members and a thriving snooker team plays in local leagues.
Bowling club – the bowling club open to all members operates throughout the winter and is open to all members.
Other activities – including a thriving Bridge society, quizzes, Pilates and more.
