Visitors, Members guests, golfing societies and tourist groups are very welcome at Bangor Golf Club.Our experience has shown that visitors to our Club will enjoy their visit if they are aware of our expectations. In addition to information on conditions, procedures and protocol set out below, the Office and Club Shop can be contacted at (028) 91270922 to provide further detail and answer specific enquiries.
i. all Societies should be registered with the GUI or one of the other three Golf Unions in the British Isles. All players must have a GUI or Society handicap;
ii. For a Society Green fee rate, 10 is the minimum number (excluding Bangor GC members);
iii. The Green Fee rates for Societies for the current year are displayed on the Fees Web Page.
iv. The Green Fee is inclusive of a compulsory insurance charge;
v. All Green Fees must be paid before play.
vi. Organisers must ensure all players are signed in at the Professional Shop;
vii. Societies start from the 1st tee only and, to facilitate the pace of play, normally play from the Yellow Tees.
Procedures and Protocol include:
i. Societies are asked to conform to the same standard of dress as members on the course and in the clubhouse; please see details on Club web site.
ii. Catering should be arranged with the Club’s Caterers at least 10 days before the event; contact number is (028) 91270922, or avail of the meal deal green fee.
iii. Prizes, individual and overall, must conform to the Rules of Amateur Status as laid down by the GUI;
