Bangor Golf Club is seeking to appoint a General Manager to drive the club forward in all areas including member and visitor satisfaction, staff performance and development, sales and marketing, course and house management, franchisee performance, best practice in all areas of administration and finance and quality assurance throughout.

Bangor Golf Club are looking for an experienced person to join the office.
The job involves:
• processing of financial transactions including banking and cash management, bank reconciliation, sales and purchase ledgers, bar accounts, payments, petty cash and other bookkeeping tasks;
• monthly payroll processing;
• HMRC returns including PAYE, VAT and machine gaming duty;
• support for golf club administration including member record administration, competition processing and general duties;
• front of office support for members.
The candidate would ideally hold professional qualifications to at least AAT BTEC Level 3 or equivalent and to at least have 3 years’ experience of operating computerised accounting systems, payroll systems and VAT systems ideally gained in a golf club or other similar small organisation but this is not essential.
The job is full-time 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday but part time and/or flexible hours will be considered for the right candidate.
